Leonora hasn’t been in contact with her ex-boyfriend for several months. If he only knew how far she has come. If he only knew how much she has done for him. If he only knew that what she did to him, she only did because she was ill. A story about anxiety, obsession and love.

Nicolai G.H. Johansen (b. 1994) is a Danish writer/director and graduate from the independent film school Super8. His previous short Inherent premiered at Semaine de la critique at Cannes Film Festival 2021. Johansen is interested in character-driven narratives, usually centering on lonely people struggling to connect to the world. He is a firm believer in cinema being more about mood and atmosphere than plot and loves bittersweet endings.
